A Monster Poured Toxic Concrete On This Cat, How He Survived Is Incredible

A cat’s fur coat is its pride and joy. A cat will spend many hours taking care of his fur, licking himself from head to toe in order to maintain its appearance. That’s why they have those specially built tongues to do most of the work for them.
But there are some things not even a cat’s bristled tongue can take care of. No one knows how this cat fell into such unfortunate circumstances, but rescuers found the two year old cat named Grant covered in concrete.

This matted up his fur and made it extremely difficult to get clean. Not even the vets could find a way to get the hardened solution from his fur. The only recourse left was to completely shave Grant from neck to hindquarters. Concrete powder, which is extremely toxic to cats, managed to get into Grant’s eyes, which caused some irritation and made it difficult for him to open them.

Thankfully, he got treatment for the condition and despite being a little colder, is much happier to be without the heavy, matted fur clinging to his skin.

In time, Grant’s luxurious fur coat will grow back in again, but for now, no one knows the reason or how Grant ended up this way.
It’s possible that he was just the unfortunate victim of a horrible prank, and we can only hope that it doesn’t happen again.

Thankfully, this is one of Grant’s nine lives he doesn’t have to strike out, thanks to the wonderful help of the Bristol vets. Stay warm this winter, Grant. Please don’t forget to share this story with your friends too.
