Rescuing a stray kitten can be one of the most rewarding experiences in the world. Giving them a chance at a new life is not something money can buy. Except when the kitten you rescue is smaller than a dollar bill.

Named Cheddar Bear, the kitten was taken in by Ryan Tronca after he’d lost his cat of fourteen years.

He needed someone to help him fill the sudden hole in his life, and Cheddar Bear was just the kitten to do it.

He drove from Seattle all the way to Portland in order to pick up the kitten, and he hasn’t looked back since.
But once he got the kitten, he realized that it was in desperate need of help. It had ear mites, fleas, and worms, so it was taken to a vet immediately to take care of these problems.

But after all of that, the kitten bounced right back and has been snuggling up to its new owner.

Now at nine months old, Cheddar Bear is still as lovable as ever. Playing is part of its daily regimen, and its very vocal when he wants something, even if it’s just a cuddle.

This cat couldn’t be more happy with its circumstances and finding a fur father who cared so much about its well-being that he would drive all that way to pick it up.

And with a name like Cheddar Bear, you know the affection is mutual. Share away, people!
