Smart Pig Snuggles Up To His New Family After Years Of Needless Abuse

Experts will tell you that pigs are very intelligent – they are even smarter than dogs. According to livescience.com, pigs were domesticated around 6,000 years ago in China. The Pig Placement Network says that pig’s (potbellied pigs) make good pets – but only for the right caregiver.
Some of the good things about pigs are that they are flea-free, clean, non-allergenic, odor-free, and inexpensive to feed. The Pig Network website says that having a pig as a pet is like having a two-year-old! Pigs can be manipulative, stubborn, and demanding.
In Hawaiian, the word Koa means “warrior.” A pig was named Koa after suffering an unnecessary brush with death. Koa’s previous owners were evil people, they savagely beat Koa with a crowbar. Koa managed to run off into the woods. He was found the next day by search and rescue teams.
