A 500-pound lion named Bonedigger and Milo, a tiny 11-pound Dachshund, formed an unlikely friendship. The two were put together five years ago at the G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma when Bonedigger was a cub.
Bonedigger was born with a metabolic bone disease that left him mildly crippled, so Milo was there to look after him and keep him company. Today they are inseparable and spend all day together.
Bonedigger gives Milo affection at the zoo in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

Milo has even learned how to growl like a lion, copying Bonedigger's way of communicating as he would with other lions in the wild.
