According to csmonitor a house cat shares 95 percent of its DNA with tigers! Big cats like jaguars, leopards, tigers, and lions roar while our house cats purr and meow. Big cats and house cats both like to groom and sleep – a lot!
Ever notice you kitty rubbing on things? Big cats do that too; it is how they mark their territory. The most significant difference between a house cat and a wild cat is, of course, their size – until now! Meet Thor the Bengal cat!

From head to toe, Thor looks like a miniature Bengal tiger! His beautiful markings and stunning green eyes make him stand out in a crowd!

His owners say he is very affectionate and social. Thor has a fan club on Instagram. Thousands of people like his pictures – can you blame them?

Thor’s owner, Rani Cucicov said that Thor is a very active and vocal boy. Rani said that Thor talks all day and even gets mad if his meows are left unanswered!

Thor’s fur pattern is different from other Bengal cats. Not only does he have the common spots and stripes like other Bengals but, Thor really looks like a Bengal tiger!

A Bengal cat typically has a pattern that resembles jungle cats like ocelots, margays, clouded leopards, and leopards.

When a visitor comes to Thor’s house, Thor goes to greet them, he doesn’t run off like other house cats. Rani said that if Thor ‘approves’ of the new guest, he will let them know with a few loud meows!

Share away, people!
