Couple Got A Tiny Kitten, And It Grew Up To Become The World’s Longest Cat

When a couple in Australia decided to get a kitten, they fell in love with a little, tiny furball and named him Omar. They had no idea that Omar would grow to be the world’s longest cat. But as little Omar started growing, they realized that he was not going to be little for long. “Omar was tiny when we got him, but then he just started growing and was at 22lbs at one year old.” Stephy Hirst Omar’s owner said.
Hirst shared Omar’s picture on an Instagram group called Cats of Instagram, and soon this cat was famous. Guinness reached out to the couple and told them that Omar might just be the longest cat on record. Omar doesn’t like his new found fame much. He still has his daily routine; waking up at 5, eating kibble for breakfast, napping on the outdoor trampoline, then finishing off his day with a supper of raw kangaroo meat.
The world’s longest cat now sleeps on the couch because he takes too much space on the couple’s bed. This huge Maine Coon has indeed taken social media by storm with his sheer size. He is bigger than a lot of dogs in the area. Take a look at the video to see just how big this Australian furball is. Weighing 30.86 lbs and measuring 3.93 ft
