Three Newly Blind Cats Get Comfort And Love From Rescue Pit Bulls

Losing one of your senses must be one of the hardest things anyone could go through, and it could only be made better by some serious help from some really amazing friends. The Faithful Friends Society received three cats who were all suffering from eye problems.

Helen, the oldest of the three, was suffering from severe glaucoma. It was causing her lots of pain, and would only have gotten worse.

The two younger siblings, Bruce and Willis, both had terrific infections, and their eyes were probably going to cost them their lives. The vets made the decision to remove the eyes from all the cats to try and give them a chance at a normal, pain free life.

The two younger cats, especially, took the surgery hard, and none of the cats was adjusting well to life without sight until they met the rescue dog named Alfie. He was rescued himself a few years ago by the same woman that agreed to foster the three cats, and Alfie discovered his mission was to guard these cats.

The two smaller cats love their big brother so much that the nap on his chest, and together they all stay warmer during nap times. Even older Helen was won over by his amazing personality and friendly charms. The two have even been known to play around a bit.

The two younger cats, Bruce and Willis, have taken the surgery worse, maybe because theirs had a few more complications and left a few more visible scars.
